This hand thrown and altered piece is designed with functionality in mind. It is made from a local Staffordshire clay by handing my garden studio using a weighty stoneware, glazing each in a seascape palette of blues, greys and slates.
The overlapping, geometric patches of colour are achieved by carefully dipping each piece into the glaze three times. Round design with a four spouts. It can be used as a pouring jug, trinket pot, bud vase or as you will. It will look equally at home in a traditional or contemporary setting.
