Acorn and oak leaf is a unique sculptural vessel made in my garden studio in Shropshire. It is a blend of hand thrown and slab built Staffordshire clay.
The form is inspired by a love of trees, the oak in particular as a symbol of strength, stature and beauty. The paired back design of these enables them to sit at home in a traditional or contemporary setting.
The cap of the acorn is removable adding to the functionality of the piece.
