Rustic wildflower bowl designed and hand built individually using a slab technique.
Each piece varies slightly due to the composition of flowers and leaves selected from my garden. This reflects the qualities and forms of the material .
Vessels are made with a local Staffordshire stoneware clay.
Each individual piece is decorated with oxides to enhance the wonderful detail captured through the process and create a fossil like effect with the appearance of an etching.
The body of the clay is glazed with a clear glossy glaze to protect and preserve the image and transform it into a decorative or functional homeware to use, treasure and love.
