Rustic fern leaf bowl designed and hand built individually using a slab technique. Each piece varies slightly due to the composition of leaves selected. This reflects the qualities and forms of the material .
Vessels are made with a local Staffordshire stoneware clay. Each individual piece is decorated with a glassy glossed green glaze to enhance the wonderful detail captured through the process and create a fossil like effect with the appearance of an etching.
This can be used as a functional or decorative item and would enhance both traditional or ca contemporary setting.
