UK Postage and Packaging

I charge a standard £7.00 fee for all UK mainland deliveries to cover the cost of the packaging materials and the delivery.

Your order will be dispatched as soon as possible. I need a little time to get your pottery all packaged up and therefore my items that are listed as ‘In Stock’ are posted within 2-3 working days of you placing your order.

You will receive a confirmation once shipped.  Most items are sent via Royal Mail, which usually takes 2-3 working days.

International Shipping.

Unfortunately I am not currently shipping outside the UK but this is something that I am working on for the future.
Please do mail me in the meantime and/or sign-up and register with me to recieve updates regarding this.

Christmas and Holidays

Delivery timescales can sometimes double due to the workloads of your local mail services dramatically increasing – I can not be held responsible for these delays.
Similarly, any orders placed less than 2 weeks before Christmas cannot be guaranteed to arrive by December 24th, so please order early.

Care instructions

Dishwasher
All of my Stoneware pottery is high fired meaning that it is fine to put in the dishwasher, however to keep your pottery glazes looking their best I advise to hand wash where ever possible since this is always kinder to hand made ceramics, and the chemicals in dishwashers can be harsh and will damage the glazes with long term regular usage.

Microwaves
Again, my Stoneware is high fired so will most probably be fine in the microwave however I cannot guarantee this in all instances since I am not able to test a range of microwaves so just to be on the safe side I would largely advise that you avoid using them in the microwave.

Thermal Shock
As with all ceramics, avoid thermal shock by not exposing your pottery to rapid temperature changes.

Refunds and Exchanges

I measure and describe each item of pottery carefully, so please read descriptions for dimensions, sizes, usage and care instructions before making your purchase.
I make all my pottery by hand in small quantities so the dimensions will vary slightly between batches and within a batch.
Please check you are happy with all the dimensions in the listing before placing your order.

All my items are handmade, therefore every one is unique, I celebrate the individual characteristics of each piece, sometimes they may be a little wonky but this is due to the handmade nature of the product.  No two items will ever be exactly the same. I do my best to match items to the pictures listings but due to the nature of the clay body, the glazes and the firing process they will vary and some differences in size, colour or finish may occur.
If you are not completely happy with an item received please do get in touch.

Damage

Great care has been taken with the packaging of your order to ensure your pottery arrives with you in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that your product is damaged during transit I will replace it with as similar an item as possible for you.

If you would like to return an item that is not suitable please let me know so I can look out for it.
I can not accept items returned after 14 days of receipt.
Unless an item is faulty, return shipping is your responsibility.
If any item is returned in a non-resalable condition (if it gets broken on it’s return journey) a refund won’t be able to be issued so please ensure it is packaged very carefully.
I recommend you insure the parcel.
Personalised items are non-returnable.

I want you to be entirely happy with your pottery, after all without you I couldn’t do what I am doing.
I will do my utmost to make sure you are 100% happy with your experience of buying my work.

Please contact me at :- val@beautifulceramics.co.uk and I will do everything that I can to resolve your concern.
